The North Carolina Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (NCARF) is a professional organization dedicated to assisting its member community rehabilitation programs in the provision of services to individuals with disabilities. NCARF is composed of members representing forty-one of North Carolina's community rehabilitation programs.
NCAPSE is a state chapter of the National Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE). APSE is the largest membership organization dedicated to the growth and expansion of supported employment.
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitaion Facilities (CARF) reviews and grants accreditation services nationally and internationally on request of a facility or program. "Our standards are rigorous, so those services that meet them are among the best available."
APSE leads in the advancement of equitable employment for people with disabilities.
The Alamance-Caswell Local Management Entity (LME) is the local government agency charged with the responsibility for overseeing the public mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services system for a two county catchment area.
Orange/Person/Chatham Area Program is the local governmental agency with responsibility for oversight and management of publicly-funded mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse services in Orange, Person and Chatham counties.
