Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who is eligible for services?
A: OE Enterprises offers a wide array of vocationally oriented services. Services are funded through Vocational Rehabilitation, or the Local Management Entity for Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Abuse services. Typically an individual would need to meet eligibility requirements of one or more of those sources. OE also offers private pay options for individuals who do not qualify for any other funding.

Q: How does one access OE’s services?
A: If you have a Case Manager or VR Counselor already, you may request that they make a referral to OE Enterprises for services. If you do not, you may contact the Program Services Manager at one of OE’s three sites to get contact information for your local VR office or LME to access services.

Q: How long does it take for services to begin?
A: Once OE Enterprises receives a completed referral packet from the referring source, an Admissions Committee meeting will be held to assess the individuals needs and ensure adequate information is available to provide best practice services to the individual. Admissions Committee meetings are held weekly, but an emergency meeting can be called if needed. In some cases additional information may be requested if not available to the Admissions Committee at the initial meeting. Typically a start date will be scheduled within a week of the Admissions meeting.

Q: How long do services last?
A: Services are highly individualized. Some individuals may receive more than one service. Some individuals may move from one service category to another as their needs change. As long as there is a documented need for the service and a valid treatment plan in place services will continue.

Q: Can OE refer an individual to other sources of help?
A: Yes. We work closely with many agencies in our various communities and maintain contact information for referral purposes. We can assist individuals with obtaining medical, legal, residential, financial, advocacy, and other means of support as needed.

Q: What are your staff credentials?

All staff receive ongoing training in First aid/ CPR, NCI, human rights, and Bloodborne Pathogens. All staff are subject to criminal background and driving record checks.

Q: Are services confidential?
